Project Description: In an ever-changing world, preserving the precious fleeting moments prompted the main concept of the Artificial Flower collection. By using artificiality, a parallel world was created to strengthen the details from places and people that disappeared into nothing but memories. By mimicking their textures, weights, and patterns using 3D scan, X-ray, photo exposure, and illustration techniques in textile decisions, these memories were materialized into a re-imagination of an innovative world. The collection is about simultaneously reminiscing and transforming manipulations of the past, present, and future. Using a specific familial relationship, the artificial flower not only represents eternity, but it captures and sustains the memories within us.
